Llanarth Early
A dual purpose Welsh perry and eating pear.
Waxy yellow fruit with bright orange flush.
Ripens early, dropping in August.
Discovered at Tynewydd Farm, Llanarth, Raglan. Apparently the large old tree has been used as a Wassail tree and for making perry.
A sweet perry pear that can also be eaten.
Pyrus Kirchensaller. Up to 6m (20ft) high. Space trees 8-10m (26-32 ft) with 8-10m (26-32ft) between the rows. Consistent vigour and form. Ideal for large traditional orchards. Start fruiting after 7-8 years.
Quince A: Up to 4m (13ft) high. Space trees 4-6m (13-20ft) apart. Perfect for fan-trained trees and espaliers. Starts fruiting 5-6 years.
Pyrodwarf: Up to 5m (16ft) high. Space trees 6-8m (20-26ft) apart. Very tough rootstock producing good quality uniform fruit after around 4-5 years.

All of our trees are available for delivery bare rooted during the winter planting season, which runs from early December to late March.
