Blakeney Red
A dual purpose eating and perry pear from Gloucestershire.
Large yellow fruits with heavy flush, sometimes streaked with light russet.
A reliable and heavy cropper. Flowers mid season. Ready to harvest end of September to beginning of October. Mill up to seven days after harvest.
Widely planted in the nineteenth century, especially around Gloucestershire. Medium acid and tannin, very pleasant quality.

Pyrus Kirchensaller - Large. Up to 6m (20ft) high. Space trees 8-10m (26-32 ft) with 8-10m (26-32ft) between the rows. Consistent vigour and form. Ideal for large traditional orchards. Start fruiting after 7-8 years.
Pyrodwarf - Medium-Large. Up to 5m (16ft) high. Space trees 6-8m (20-26ft) apart. Very tough rootstock producing good quality uniform fruit after around 4-5 years.
Quince A - Medium. Up to 4m (13ft) high. Space trees 4-6m (13-20ft) apart. Perfect for fan-trained trees and espaliers. Starts fruiting 5-6 years.
