2023 Paramaethu Cymru Annual Gathering

Beautiful location, generous hosts, fantastic team behind the scenes keeping everything running, and some excellent speakers to boot. It would be a bit disingenuous to point out anyone in particular for praise, as everyone really was on top form, but a shout out to Patrick and his family, who hosted the event at Holden Farm Dairy - Wales' longest certified organic dairy farm, and to Winnie's Catering and the inestimable Moo for keeping us all scrumptiously fed and watered.

To the speakers themselves - you were outstanding. Huw Richards, Neil Kingsnorth of Patch of the Planet/Llecyn o'r Blaned, Liz Zorab of Byther Farm, Peni Ediker of Swn Y Coed, Patrick Holden - and these were just the ones we managed to get to see. There were many others we sadly missed, but from talk around the fireside they were all equally amazing. In these dark days, it was nonetheless impossible not to come away feeling utterly inspired and filled with optimism.

And to Carwyn Graves (carwyngraves.com). You spoke to our hearts and made us feel proud to be Welsh all over again. Nerth gwlad, ei gwybodaeth.

Gratitude also to Hock, Peter, Steph, Moo and Nim for organising the whole shebang. There were no doubt many others we've neglected to mention, but be assured nobody at this end forgets your work.

And of course to all the other attendees who made the event such a pleasure.
